The "Lunar Summit " is an innovative and visually stunning project designed for the DCL Contest #18 DAO Townhall competition. This virtual townhall is shaped like a majestic pyramid with a captivating moon that gracefully orbits around it. It serves as a futuristic gathering place for meetings, discussions, and social interactions within the virtual world of Decentraland.

"Transcendence" is a gallery that explores motion of a toy with a helicopter rotor. The gallery was formed by tracking a series of motions of an bamboo dragonfly or a bamboo copter escalating towards the sky. A rotating structure was generated to create stability and lights that flows along the circulation. Finally, platforms are created in the corners to maximize views for both the interior and exterior spaces. The circulation is linear, and easy for exhibition organizations.

Oyster house is inspired with stacks of oyster shells in a plate. The empty oyster shells are gallery spaces that are interconnected. The steps in each gallery spaces act as circulation that collaborates with each other. The concave and convex shells and simultaneously act as either a hill or and dome top. By arranging the oysters in different orientation, multiple unique gallery spaces are generated. Overall, with a simple nesting and staggering of this module, Oyster House invested with different types of ideal spaces and circulation.

"Paper Fantasy" is an exploration of improbable structural and materiality in virtual architecture design. Slabs and sheets of paper crumble to became circulation and vertical visual obstructions within the gallery. The concept is to create architecture with the most basic element on a drafting table, “paper”. Sheets of paper mimic flocks of birds—gliding and flapping their wings as they ascend to the top and merge with the floor slabs.

Built with the idea of focusing and directing all the energy into a single point of interest, "Convergence" uses a series of swirling walls to funnel traffic from all directions to its center where arts would be displayed. Upon enjoying the art works within the center in the tall walls arranged in circular motion, one can use the elevator to ascend to the rooftop where the space is totally open and flexible for social gathering or more arts to display. Convergence and dispersion of space are achieved by mirroring the vertically form, creating a very simple and powerful parti, which is only possible in the metaverse.

"Flow" generates space by interweaving 2 directional surfaces between each other. The reflective materiality vs the airy textured bronze material juxtaposes the 2 different manipulated surfaces in the gallery. Floor, ceiling, walls and circulation are blended together to create a unique holistic experience of the projects simple form.

Inspired by the Dutch art movement “De Stijl” explores ways to create space from an artistic composition- the grid lines become the structures and the colored panels become floating tinted glass which act as planes that define the space. The floating graph paper like ground expresses a fundamental draft like nature of the space. Visitors will circulate through the building by jumping to different planes in the space.

Between reality and the metaverse, “Light scaffolds” plays with the idea of being complete, yet incomplete. The airy light weight structure floats in the metaverse and is seemingly supported by hovering light sticks which form gallery spaces and circulation. With the physical possibilities of the decentraland metaverse in mind, users can either use the central elevator for circulation, or physically jump to different platforms in the the space.

Humans have been trying to reach the sky and live in the clouds since the beginning of time. Gallery in the clouds would have been a dream but the Metaverse is the place where imagination comes true. Airy cloud-like skins constructed with lattices of organic shapes perfectly diffuse the environmental lights onto the gallery spaces. Void spaces were cut from within to provide flexibility for displaying a variety of flat NFT arts or 3D sculptures.
